The Mission and primary purpose of the Cibola County Detention Center (C.C.D.C.) is to provide public safety services to the citizens of Cibola County and the State of New Mexico, performing at the highest level of professionalism, to provide and ensure the safe, secure and humane detention, transport and housing of local, state, regional and federal detainees. Drawing on the best practices and vast experience of many facets of detention and correctional management, the Cibola County Detention Center commits to strive, consistently, to achieve the superior quality of institutional procedures, operation and management methodologies or recommended implementations, compliant with and desiring to exceed the mandatory compliance measures of the local, state and federal standards established by respective governing bodies in accordance with the Standards set forth in the New Mexico Statutes Annotated (N.M.S.A.) and the Performance Based Detention Standards established by local, state and federal agencies.

All visitors need to be on inmates visiting list. Must be 18 year of age.
NO bare midriffs, low cut tops, miniskirts, or see-through clothing. NO handbags, diaper bags, strollers, cell phones, audio or video recording devices. NO food or drink allowed in the visiting room.
Visits are 30 minutes. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult visitation is the first full week and last full week of each month.
All Incoming / outgoing mail is monitored
All incoming mail shall have inmates booking number and full name
Inmates may not recieve the following items:
Polaroid pictures / computer printed photos
Stickers / postage stamps / stationary / blank paper or envelopes
Cash or personal items
Greeting Cards / lipstick or perfume
